Saving money has always been a part of my life. When I was very young, I would watch my grandmother clip coupons and anticipate seasonal sales. If we ever missed a sale she would swear religiously that the sales “would come back around”. And they always did.

As I grew older I became more and more intrigued by sales cycles and patterns and also by the fact that yes, the same sales always came back around. While my grandmother was not an extreme couponer, the seed of shopping and saving money was planted.

When I was old enough to start earning my own money I needed to learn how to stretch it. I started using coupons at department stores, then restaurants. With every free appetizer & free gift with purchase, I became more obsessed with “free”. I decided to try my hand at couponing. Once I discovered the possibilities of “free” with couponing I was hooked! The rest is history.
